  • Deadline Approaching: 2013-2014 FAFSA corrections or updates must be submitted by midnight Central Time, September 20, 2014.
  • FAFSA on the Web will be unavailable Sunday, September 21 from 1 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET.
  • In keeping with a recent Supreme Court decision, when responding to all FAFSA questions related to marital status, the response must be “married or re-married” if the couple was legally married in any jurisdiction that recognizes the relationship as a valid marriage, regardless of whether the couple is of the same or opposite sex and regardless of where the married couple lives or where the student will be attending school.
