Student’s College Grant and Scholarship Aid Reported to IRS as Income

The response indicates the total amount of college grant and scholarship aid reported as part of the student's (and his/her spouse’s) adjusted gross income (AGI) for 2016. This is student aid that was part of the student's or spouse’s financial aid package, but was also considered taxable and included in the student's (and his/her spouse’s) AGI. This includes benefits received through the AmeriCorps Program.
