High School Flag

This flag indicates whether or not the student answered the question about their High School code.

For all applications (i.e., FAFSA on the Web, EDE, FAA Access, or paper) from students with a high school diploma, if the applicant’s school information is not found in the high school list during processing, the CPS sets the High School Flag. In FAA Access, the High School Flag is displayed in the “Match Flags” of the FAA Information page in Student Inquiry. “High School Code not found” in this field identifies applicants with a high school diploma who did not provide high school information or who provided information for a school that was not found on the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) high school list.
