Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)


An Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) will provide up to $750 for the first year of undergraduate study and up to $1,300 for the second year of undergraduate study to full-time students who are Federal Pell Grant recipients and who have successfully completed a rigorous high school program, as determined by the state or local education agency and recognized by the Secretary of Education.

To be eligible for an ACG each academic year, a student must:

A school may use a student’s responses to the ACG eligibility questions to assist in determining eligibility for an ACG award.

For eligible students, schools submit ACG Award data to COD through a submission process similar to that used to send Pell awards.
